Henri Michaux is a poet who inspires me a lot in my approach. "Playing with sound" is a text of the poet that will serve as a pretext for the composition of the piece. The process is based on the modeling of the emotions that the words give off. In this sense I try to express through music, the semantics of the gestures which is located beyond the first meaning of the words. This statement is completely consistent with the poet's discourse, who does not hesitate to express his frustration with the fact that words are imprisoned in what we are taught and would like to impose on us. The piece for five voices and electronics is an attempt to transform the signified into the signifier and vice versa. The technical aspect of the piece is based on the reproduction of phonemes in the OMChant environment. The sound produced is very similar to the human voice but with superhuman capacities of course.
