This paper aims to present the process of composition of a piece in which the musical material integrates syntactic and semantic dimensions of a poetic language. Modeling the semantics of speech gestures through graphical nota- tion and using formant synthesis to generate the electronic sounds are also the subjects that will be explained in order to give an outline about the way poetry and prosody con- tribute to the microstructure and macrostructure of a vocal piece.
